My aim is to Provide Driving lessons in the North london area. I run a small company with a few select driving instructors so that we can provide a friendly and professionsal service to the public. I own several sites which are: www.driveabout.co.uk www.etda.co.uk www.driveabout.co.uk and www.tabak.co.uk These terms and conditions apply to any lessons booked through any of these sites and through any means.

The following are terms and conditions to protect you as the learner and us as instructors. These terms and conditions do not affect any satutory rights you may have by law. Please have a good read and if you have any questions pleae email me at Chris@driveabout.co.uk.

You are strongly advised to print these terms & conditions for your own reference, as they form part of the contract for the sale of lessons between Driveabout.co.uk and you the consumer.

Purchasing from us


  • To enable you to start driving in the UK you must be 17 or over and hold a valid UK provisional driving license which we will need to see on commencement of your 1st lesson.
  • The instructors will always act in a professional and courteous manner
  • Driveabout.co.uk or it's instructors will not discriminate against Colour, Creed, Race or Religion.
  • Driveabout.co.uk will not be held liable for any private agreement or monies agreed between the pupil and the instructor.
  • Driveabout.co.uk and the companies instructors will always ensure the car used for tuition will have dual controls, be road worthy and clean.
  • Driveabout.co.uk cannot be held responsible for cancelled lessons due to illness.
  • If the Driving instructor deem his/her pupil is not ready to take the practical driving test the instructor reserves the right to not let his/her car be used by the pupil for the purpose of the practical driving test. The instructor will always give ample notice to the pupil to allow the pupil to make alternative arrangements or postpone his/her test date.
  • We reserve the right to change lesson prices as market trends dictate with 2 weeks notice to the pupil.
  • We reserve the right to end any promotion without notice

Cancellations

Unless 48 hours notice is given the cancelled lesson will still have to be paid for at the discretion of the instructor

Credit Card Security
Once you have gone through our checkout, you will be diverted to our protected secure online payment system with our credit card processor, Worldpay. Your credit card information will be held in protected SSL secure servers, at Worldpay, we will not have access to your full credit card details, and we will not release information regarding your credit card. Your credit card details will only be used for transaction authorised by you.
We currently only accept VISA, MasterCard, VISA Delta, Switch and Switch Solo.

Cooling-Off Period
By law you have the right to cancel you lessons within 7 working days of the day thats you 1st lesson had been booked for. If you do decide to cancell you booked lessons then please write to me at : I.Tabak, of i
or email me at Chris@Driveabout.co.uk and inform me in advance of your wish to exercise your right to cancel your your lesson. Unless 48 hours or more notice is given the cost of the 1st lesson will be deducted plus any costs incured.
